We had some difficulties with a staff member at the staff canteen. I mentioned the ‘soup nazi‘ , and quickly found out only one of my colleagues knew what I was talking about!
In the US, and Australia, referring to someone as a Nazi, is to mock their rigid behaviour. In Europe, the word is still taboo.
